Xcel Energy's 2024-2027 Clean Heat Plan provides a path to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from natural gas service while continuing to deliver the reliable, affordable energy customers depend on. It expands customer choice through a range of solutions designed to lower emissions, maintain system reliability and keep costs as low as possible.
Approved by the Colorado Public Utilities Commission in June 2024, the plan brings together energy efficiency, electrification, cleaner fuels and emerging technologies to help meet state clean energy goals. It gives customers more options to choose solutions for their homes, businesses and budgets.
Building on this inaugural Clean Heat Plan, our 2027-2030 portfolio will continue delivering long-term value for customers while supporting Colorado's clean energy goals.
